It’s Mental May is Mental Health Awareness month, and each Monday we will be sharing important facts about how to support your mental health. FREE COMIC BOOK DAY – THIS SATURDAY! Free Comic Book Day is a nationwide celebration of stories, art, and imagination—with the goal of getting new comics into the hands of readers of all ages! In honor of this awesome event, Mr. Jackson will be giving away special reprints of Kingfisher Kid comics to any IC Imagine students who stop by: Morgan's Comics 600 Haywood Road, Asheville, NC 28806 Saturday, May 3rd 11:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.

Make sure to mark your calendars for June 6th, the evening of the IC Imagine Fine Arts Showcase and Fundraiser! We will have a K-12 Visual Art Show, performances by the US Choruses, Jazz Band, and MS Theater Department. We will have a special raffle of several items, including East Fork Pottery, Theater Tickets, Front Row Seats at Next Year's Concerts, and more! Mr. Jackson will be designing and screen printing posters to support the LS Visual Arts Department. And there will be snacks!
