In the final lesson of the heat transfer unit, Ms. Gennett's 5th grade class put their knowledge to the test with a fun and interactive project. The students used homemade solar ovens to cook s'mores, harnessing the power of the sun to complete their yummy experiment!

Some of our Upper School students were recently inducted into the National Honor Society (NHS), a prestigious organization that recognizes outstanding high school students. During the ceremony, students shared stories about their teachers and how IC Imagine has positively impacted their lives. To kick off their next reading unit, second-graders were treated to a book tasting! With the upcoming module on Westward Expansion, students will read a variety of books on the subject. Popcorn and dried fruit were on the menu to help students understand how pioneers prepared to feed themselves. Additionally, pretzels and marshmallows were used to craft a hammer, similar to the one John Henry used when helping build the railroad West!
