Middle and Upper School chorus worked tirelessly to put on a spectacular winter concert. The middle school performance's highlight was a medley of "Sleigh Ride", "Winter Wonderland", and "Let it Snow!" called "On With The Snow!" The Upper School chorus was a huge hit with their rendition of the Pentatonix song "White Winter Hymnal" and Enya's "Amid the Falling Snow." We would like to extend our congratulations to Amber Guzy, one of our outstanding students who has been with IC Imagine since Kindergarten. We are thrilled to announce that Amber will be performing in the Macy's Day Parade!
Earlier this year, Amber took part in a dance competition in Concord, NC, where she earned the "Golden Ticket Award" for placing first among approximately 90 dancers. This achievement granted her a "no audition" spot on the Spirit of America Dance Team, where she will be performing in the parade. Keep an eye out for Amber today during the parade!

On Sunday afternoon, a few members of the UNCA Dance and Cheer Team hosted a cheer clinic for the IC Imagine cheerleaders. They generously volunteered their time to teach the Kingfisher cheerleaders a dance routine and some stunts, and we couldn't be more grateful.

In Mr. Osborne’s Civic Literacy class, Upper School students were tasked with reviewing Supreme Court cases using the game Taboo. Each student was given a Supreme Court case to prepare for and had to describe the key details of the case to their teammates without using any of the “taboo” words. This exercise not only helped the students to better understand the cases but also helped to improve their communication and collaboration skills.

The second-grade class had an amazing opportunity to connect with Ms. Holm and her current class of students based in Connecticut. Ms. Holms is a former IC Imagine teacher. During the virtual meeting, both classes interviewed each other and exchanged their perspectives on what it's like living in North Carolina and Connecticut.

First graders had a blast on their field trip to the Wortham Center for the Performing Arts last week. They were treated to a fantastic new musical called Dot Dot Dot, inspired by the creatrilogy trio of award-winning picture books by renowned author Pete H. Reynold – The Dot, Ish, and Sky Color.
