Middle School Families,
As we enter the final stretch of the school year, our focus shifts to end-of-year testing and to celebrating our students' accomplishments.
Testing begins next week, and we encourage families to review the schedule posted on our website. Ensuring students get a good night's sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive at school on time each day will help them feel confident and prepared to do their best.
This week, we had the privilege of celebrating our 8th grade students at their graduation ceremony. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished during their middle school years and wish them the very best as they transition to Upper School. We look forward to watching them continue to grow and succeed in the years ahead.
Help us congratulate Melanie Carpenter, IC Imagine's 2026 Teacher of the Year! This well-deserved honor recognizes her dedication to students and commitment to excellence. We are proud that Melanie will represent IC Imagine as she competes for North Carolina Teacher of the Year.
Don't forget that our Fine Arts Showcase is tonight from 4:30–8:30 PM! This exciting event is packed with student performances, shopping opportunities, raffle prizes, auction items, and much more. It promises to be a wonderful evening celebrating the talents and creativity of our students, and we hope to see you there.
Field Day is coming up on Wednesday, June 10! Our 6th and 7th grade students will participate in Field Day activities and will be released at noon. Our 8th grade students will enjoy Field Day activities after testing and will remain at school for a regular school day. Families may pre-purchase Kona Ice through Infinite Campus. Students can also bring cash to purchase their Kona Ice.
We also need your help to keep our campus looking its best! During the week of June 8, we are seeking volunteers to help stain and move picnic tables. In addition, we will host a Campus Workday on July 21 from 8:00–11:00 AM. If you are available to lend a hand, please sign up through Volunteer Tracker.
