Middle School Families,

Thank you for helping us honor and celebrate our staff this week!

May is Mental Health Month, and IC Imagine will recognize it across all school levels. Each “Mental Health Monday,” our Mental Health Team and staff will wear green or mental health–themed shirts to show support. Let’s be intentional this month about caring for ourselves and one another as we continue to show our community that mental health matters.

We are excited to celebrate our spring athletics! Our MTB team is heading to Danville this weekend to compete in the state championship. Best of luck to our riders! Congratulations as well to our soccer team on winning their conference championship. Our baseball teams have demonstrated great sportsmanship, and it has been wonderful to watch the program continue to grow each year. We are proud of all our student-athletes and their hard work this season. Don’t forget, the Spring Athletics Banquet will be held on May 13 from 5–7 PM.

As we approach the end of the school year, we are preparing for End-of-Grade testing. Students have worked hard all year with added support through momentum classes and “finish line” sessions. To help families plan, we wanted to share the detailed testing schedule. Testing Week will include Field Day for 6th and 7th graders and a celebration for 8th grade on June 10, along with early release (weather may impact plans). During the June 11–12 retesting window, families will be notified if their child needs to return. Students not testing are encouraged to remain home to help maintain a quiet testing environment. They will receive an excused absence for the two days that they remain home.

Please be sure to submit the EOG/EOC Retest Permission Form.  Go to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal/ Menu/ Documents/ EOG-EOC Retest Permission FormOnce the form is open, click the button to select your choice (yes/no), click the red signature image on the 2nd page, click sign, and finally click submit.

2023–24 Individual Student Reports (ISRs) in the NCSIS parent and student portals will be archived on July 15, 2026. Please download and save copies for future reference before that date.

Our spring musical, The Little Mermaid, will be performed May 14–16. Tickets range from $5–$20, and it’s a great show for all ages. We hope you’ll come out to support our talented students!

Looking for a clean car and a way to give back? Support Kingfisher Cheer by purchasing a Zips Car Wash to help fund their journey to Regionals next fall.

Lastly, we have already heard from a few families whose enrollment plans for their children next year have changed due to anticipated relocations/family needs.  As a reminder, if you will be making a different school choice for your child next year, please notify us immediately by emailing enrollment@icimagine.org.  This information helps us ensure the accuracy of our rosters and enables us to offer available seats to students on our waitlist

Have a great weekend,

Ryan Bell & Yvonne Bourque
