Middle School Families,
There’s a lot happening at IC Imagine as we head into an exciting week ahead!
Due to our recent snow days and the challenges of rescheduling within our current school calendar, we have decided to bring our Student-Led Conferences directly to you! We want to ensure you still have the opportunity to connect with your student regarding their progress despite the winter weather interruptions.
On February 17, your student will bring home a folder and feedback form. Inside this folder, you will find your student’s recent work and reflections from their classes. Please take a few minutes to let your student lead you through their achievements and goals.
Action Items:
Review the folder with your student.
Complete the attached feedback form—this is your space to share comments or request a follow-up from specific teachers.
Return the form: Have your student bring the signed form back to their Advisory teacher by February 20.
Student Incentives:
Individual Reward: Students who return their form earn 100 LiveSchool points, which can be used for a dress-down day!
Class Reward: Every Advisory class that reaches 100% participation will celebrate with a pizza party!
Help us congratulate the boys’ basketball team on an incredible season! They are the BRAC Champions, finishing the regular season undefeated. Way to go, Kingfishers!
Next week is Coins for Kingfishers! Students are invited to bring in spare change, and we’ll also be collecting donations during carline. All funds raised support our PBIS program, which helps encourage positive behavior and celebrate student successes across our school.
Do you know a family who might be interested in IC Imagine? Help us spread the word about our upcoming Discovery Day on Saturday, February 21, from 9:00–11:00 AM. This event is to showcase our school and welcome prospective families into our community.
Our Book Fair is just three weeks away, happening March 2–6! Keep an eye out for more details about volunteering and setting up an eWallet.
Our next middle school dance is Friday, March 6, from 6:00–8:00 p.m.! Join us for a Glow Party–themed night of music and fun. Tickets are now available for purchase, and optional donations can also be made through Infinite Campus.
A note from the Upper School Principals:
We’re excited to invite rising freshmen and their families to Rising Freshman Night on Monday, February 24, from 6:00–7:00 PM in the IPAC. This informative evening will cover important details about high school registration and other key topics to help students prepare for the year ahead. Families will also have time to ask questions and connect with our team.
Before the session, join us for the Jazz Café & Fine Arts Showcase beginning at 5:00 PM, featuring performances by our talented students. Food will be available for purchase at the door—sandwich combo meals (sandwich, chips, drink, and cookie) are $12.
We appreciate your continued support and hope you have a great weekend!
