Thank you for your interest in IC Imagine! For families interested in applying for the 2026-27 school year, the application window opened on January 1, 2026. Applicants must be residents of North Carolina and are required to provide proof of residency with their application. County boundaries or school attendance areas do not affect charter school enrollment. Open enrollment for the 2026-27 school year was held from January 1st at 12:00 am through March 31st at 11:59 pm. All applications received during this period were entered into a blind lottery to determine the enrollment offers and waitlist order. The lottery was held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 10 am EST. All applications received after March 31st at 11:59 pm are placed on the waitlist in the order they are received. As seats become available, families are contacted with an offer for enrollment.
All applicants applying for Kindergarten (2026-27 school year) must be 5 years of age before 9/1/2026.
