Middle School Families,
September is moving quickly, and our Middle School Kingfishers have plenty happening both inside and outside the classroom.
Progress reports will be going home with students today. Please review them with your student and ask them about the progress that they are making in their classes. There is a mysterious score for MS appearing on these reports. Please disregard this score, as we are working to remove it from future reports.
ACTION ITEM #1
Discover StudentAccess
IC Imagine is partnering with the Buncombe County Public Library to give our students even greater access to books and learning resources.
Through StudentAccess, IC Imagine students can use their Student ID number to access and borrow resources from the public library.
ACTION ITEM #2
There are lots of easy ways to support our Kingfisher community!
Give to Imagine Fund: You should have received our giving letter in the mail. IC Imagine receives approximately 30% less funding than traditional public schools, so consider a one-time or recurring gift.
Shop Fine Arts: Fine Arts Spirit Wear is available through September 18.
Love Our Staff: Help us stock the Staff Workroom with snacks and treats!
Eat for a Cause: Visit Chick-fil-A West Asheville on September 21 from 4–7 p.m. Order through the app using code ICI26, and 20% of qualifying mobile sales will support IC Imagine.
Every gift, purchase, and act of support makes a difference. Thank you, Kingfishers!
ACTION ITEM #3

Wednesday: Neon Day

We can’t wait to see our Middle School Kingfishers bring the spirit!

CELEBRATION
Middle School Is Finding Its Groove!
Our students are settling into routines, building independence, and finding more ways to connect with their school community. From academics and athletics to Fine Arts and upcoming grade-level experiences, we love seeing our Middle School Kingfishers get involved and take on new challenges.
We also had our first House Competition last week during advisory. Students participated in the “secret word” challenge. Some students in the advisory worked together to write a “secret word” using markers and string, while the other students in the advisory guessed the word. Currently, Craggy House is in the lead with the most House Points, 79.210.
Have a great weekend,
