Elementary School Families,
There’s a lot to look forward to in Lower School! From Spirit Week and family activities to new opportunities for learning beyond the classroom, here’s what you need to know this week.
ACTION ITEM #1
Discover StudentAccess
IC Imagine is partnering with the Buncombe County Public Library to give our students even greater access to books and learning resources.
Through StudentAccess, IC Imagine students can use their Student ID number to access and borrow resources from the public library.
ACTION ITEM #2
Join Your Kingfisher for PE or Art!
We’re inviting our 3rd–5th Grade families to experience Investments alongside their students!
Next Week: Bring Your Family to PE
Sign up to join your child during their PE class.
September 21–25: Bring Your Family to Art
Sign up to create alongside your child during Art!
K–2 families: Your opportunity to join your student during Investments will come later this year!
ACTION ITEM #3
There are lots of easy ways to support our Kingfisher community!
Give to Imagine Fund: You should have received our giving letter in the mail. IC Imagine receives approximately 30% less funding than traditional public schools, so consider a one-time or recurring gift.
Shop Fine Arts: Fine Arts Spirit Wear is available through September 18.
Love Our Staff: Help us stock the Staff Workroom with snacks and treats!
Eat for a Cause: Visit Chick-fil-A West Asheville on September 21 from 4–7 p.m. Order through the app using code ICI26, and 20% of qualifying mobile sales will support IC Imagine.
Every gift, purchase, and act of support makes a difference. Thank you, Kingfishers!
REMINDER
Spirit Week Starts Monday!
Get those outfits ready! Spirit Week is September 14–18.
Monday: Sports Day
Tuesday: Tired Tuesday — Pajama Day
Wednesday: Neon Day
Thursday: Marvel vs. DC
Friday: IC Imagine Spirit Day
We can’t wait to see our Kingfishers show their school spirit!
