Middle School Families,

Middle school is a time of growing independence, new responsibilities, and new opportunities. As our students settle into the school year, we appreciate your continued partnership in helping them stay engaged, organized, and connected to our school community. Here's what you need to know this week!

ACTION ITEM #1

Get Ready to Volunteer!

Want to chaperone a field trip, help in the classroom, or support student activities this year? Learn more about the levels of volunteering, and make sure you're up to date, so you're ready when opportunities arise.

ACTION ITEM #2

Invest in IC Imagine

As a public charter school, IC Imagine receives approximately 30% less funding than traditional public schools, creating an estimated $4 million funding gap this fiscal year.

Every gift helps us provide the programs and opportunities our students deserve. Families can support IC Imagine through a one-time gift, monthly donation, or corporate sponsorship.

Own a business, or know one that would make a great community partner? We'd love to connect!

ACTION ITEM #3

Get Ready for Picture Day

Picture Day is Tuesday, August 25! Mark your calendar and help your student come ready for their school photo.

Additional ordering information will be shared with families.

REMINDER

Every Day Counts

Middle school students are building habits that will carry with them into high school and beyond. Regular attendance helps students keep up academically, maintain friendships, and stay connected to their school community.

Encourage your student to show up, be on time, and be ready to learn each day. If attendance becomes difficult, please reach out early so we can partner with your family.

CELEBRATION

Celebrating Our NJHS Inductees!

We are excited to celebrate our students being inducted into the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) on Thursday, August 20, at 6:00 p.m.

NJHS recognizes students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. We are incredibly proud of these Kingfishers and look forward to celebrating this important accomplishment with their families!

Have a great weekend,

Ryan Bell & Yvonne Bourque
