Lower School Families,
Another great week is in the books! Our Kingfishers continue to settle into routines, build relationships, and bring so much energy and curiosity to our classrooms. Here are this week's most important updates.
ACTION ITEM #1
Get Connected with Rooms
You should have received communication from your child's teacher through Rooms, our new primary communication platform for teachers, staff, coaches, and families.
Rooms gives you one place for school communication without juggling multiple apps or logins. Families can receive text notifications and view and respond to messages directly through the IC Imagine App.
To get started:
Watch for messages and announcements from your child's teacher.
Use the link in the message or the IC Imagine App to respond.
Review your notification settings to choose how you'd like to receive updates.
Haven't received anything from your child's teacher? Please reach out so we can make sure you're connected.

ACTION ITEM #2
Get Ready to Volunteer!
Want to chaperone a field trip, help in the classroom, or support student activities this year? Learn more about the levels of volunteering, and make sure you're up to date, so you're ready when opportunities arise.
ACTION ITEM #3
Invest in IC Imagine
As a public charter school, IC Imagine receives approximately 30% less funding than traditional public schools, creating an estimated $4 million funding gap this fiscal year.
Every gift helps us provide the programs and opportunities our students deserve. Families can support IC Imagine through a one-time gift, monthly donation, or corporate sponsorship.
Own a business, or know one that would make a great community partner? We'd love to connect!

REMINDER
Every Day Counts
Your child's voice, ideas, and presence matter in our school community! Each missed day can make it harder to reconnect academically and socially, and attendance habits established early in the year often continue throughout the school year.
Talk positively about school and remind your child that showing up matters. If attendance becomes difficult, please reach out early so we can partner with your family.
CELEBRATION
Fall sports are officially underway!
Attending a home game is a great way for our younger Kingfishers to show their school pride, support our student-athletes, and experience the excitement of Kingfisher Athletics.
Visit the Athletics website for schedules and come cheer on the Kingfishers!
Have a great weekend,
Jamie Williams, Ellen Girardi, & Penny Caldwell
