Upper School Families,
We are so excited to welcome our students back after Spring Break! It has been wonderful to see their energy as we hit the ground running into our final quarter. Quarter 3 report cards were sent home either yesterday or today, so please take a moment to celebrate your student’s hard work and accomplishments.
AP Testing will take place May 5th through 15th. More details will be shared soon via email from Mr. Shaughnessy.
A reminder that April 24th is a teacher workday, but students will have a virtual A day. All assignments must be completed within five days and submitted to teachers. Advisory will be marked “present” for students as long as at least two class period assignments have been submitted.
Prom is coming up, May 1st. Students must be in good standing with their attendance before they can attend prom. This year's theme is “Night on the Bayou,” held at the Capital Club of Asheville on Patton Ave from 7:00 pm until 10:30 pm. Only seniors and juniors may purchase tickets on Infinite Campus. Questions about prom, please reach out to Ms. Bryant
We are thrilled to announce that Amber Guzy and Julian Kasalu have been accepted into Governor’s School this summer! Their hard work, dedication, and talent have truly paid off. This incredible achievement marks the start of even greater opportunities ahead. Wishing them both an unforgettable experience!
This April, in conjunction with the Fun Run, we are raising funds for a project that will transform our existing picnic and play areas into welcoming, vibrant, and inclusive spaces for learning, playing, and connecting with friends and teachers. All we are asking middle and upper school families to do is donate and share with family and friends to help us take one step closer to this exciting project! Donate Here
We value strong communication and want to hear from you! Please take a few minutes to complete this survey and share your feedback on how we’re doing. Your input helps us continue to improve and better support our school community
Our lottery has been held, but applications for the 2026–27 school year are still open! Help us spread the word—our families are our greatest advocates in sharing the news throughout the community.
Lastly, our spring musical performances will be held May 14,15, and 16. Tickets range from $5–$20. While the show includes a few mildly scary moments, it is appropriate for all ages. Get your tickets for The Little Mermaid!
Have a great weekend!
