Lower School Families,

We are so excited to welcome our students back after Spring Break! It has been wonderful to see their energy as we hit the ground running into our final quarter. Quarter 3 report cards were sent home today—please take a moment to celebrate your student’s hard work and accomplishments. We are looking forward to a strong and successful finish to the school year!

Looking ahead, End-of-Grade testing is the week of June 8. If your student in grades 3–5 will be absent during testing, please let us know as soon as possible so we can arrange a plan to reschedule.

Remember to register for the Fun Run if you haven’t already! Head to mybooster.com today and complete these 3 easy steps:

  1. Register on mybooster.com

  2. Share our fundraiser with your family and friends using the SHARE BUTTON on mybooster.com.

  3. Give a donation if you are able to (all students will fully participate regardless of financial participation).  Every little bit helps!

As a reminder, this year’s fundraiser will help us transform the current picnic tables and recess areas into welcoming, vibrant, and inclusive spaces for learning, playing, and connecting with friends and teachers.  Every student will benefit from this reimagined space every day.

Our lottery has been held, but applications for the 2026–27 school year are still open! Help us spread the word—our families are our greatest advocates in sharing the news throughout the community.

We value strong communication and want to hear from you! Please take a few minutes to complete this survey and share your feedback on how we’re doing. Your input helps us continue to improve and better support our school community

¡Vamos! K-2 Bring your parents to Spanish Week, happening April 20–27!

Save the dates for a magical under-the-sea adventure! Our spring musical performances will be held May 14,15, and 16. Tickets range from $5–$20. While the show includes a few mildly scary moments, it is appropriate for all ages. Get your tickets for The Little Mermaid!

Blue Ridge Health Updates: Appointments are available Wednesdays in April for $10 summer camp or sports physicals (call 828-233-2261 starting 4/6/26). Bring pages 1–2 of the sports form signed by a parent. Sick visits are available daily in-person or via Tyto/telehealth.

Great news, YMCA Afterschool is now open to IC Imagine families! Kids up to age 12 will ride from school to Beaverdam for a safe, active, and enriching afternoon. Register at ymcawnc.org

 Have a great weekend,
