Upper School Families,
As we head into Spring Break, we hope your family enjoys a restful and fun-filled time together! We look forward to welcoming students back refreshed, recharged, and ready to finish the school year strong. The weeks ahead are full of important milestones and events, and we’re excited to see our students stay engaged and finish the year with focus and success.
The 2026 Western North Carolina Regional Scholastic Art Awards, on view at The Van Winkle Law Firm Gallery and Multipurpose Space at the Asheville Art Museum, celebrate outstanding work by students in grades 7–12 across the region. This juried exhibition highlights emerging talent, with Gold Key winners advancing to the national competition. This weekend is your last chance to view the students’ work before the exhibition closes and award recipients are honored at the March 22 reception.
Our 3rd Annual Kingfisher Fun Run is just over one month away! In the coming weeks, families will receive information on how to register and share the fundraiser with family and friends. Last year’s event was a tremendous success thanks to the incredible support of our extended community—grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors, and friends—who helped make a lasting impact on our school. This year, funds raised will support a project to renovate and reimagine our picnic tables and recess areas—spaces that benefit all IC Imagine students every day.
Save the dates for a magical under-the-sea adventure! Our spring musical performances will be held May 14,15, and 16. Tickets range from $5–$20. While the show includes a few mildly scary moments, it is appropriate for all ages. Get your tickets for The Little Mermaid!
Have a great weekend!
