Upper School Families,

Spring Break is just around the corner, and students and staff are looking forward to a well-deserved break after a busy and productive start to the semester.

As a reminder, the grading period will close on Friday, March 20th. Students should be sure to check in with their teachers and make sure all assignments are completed and submitted before the end of the quarter. Report cards will be distributed on April 10th.

Our spring sports season is getting underway, and it has been exciting to see so many of our student-athletes back on the field, court, and track. We encourage families to come out and support our teams as the season gets into full swing. If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, consider cheering on our IC Imagine Mountain Bike team as they compete in their closest race of the season on Sunday, March 15, in Tryon, NC.

Next week, we have several exciting events happening across our community. On Monday, March 16th, the Fine Arts Booster Club will meet at 8:00 am in the Middle/Upper School Chorus Room. Anyone interested in supporting our fine arts programs is welcome to attend.

On Tuesday, March 17th, we will host our Chipotle Fundraiser. Order online using code MZAA3F8 or let the restaurant know you are there to support IC Imagine. Our Spring Chorus concert is also that evening, making it a great opportunity to grab dinner before or after the performance.

Inclusion matters, and your voice does too! Join us for a caregiver meet-up on Thursday, March 18th, at Dripolator on Smokey Park Highway, right after drop-off. Then bring your little ones for Family and Friend Playtime on Saturday, March 21st at 10:00 am at Murphy-Oakley Park Playground. Questions? Email us at ecfamilyadvisorycouncil@icimagine.org

Families are also invited to attend our College Application Planning Night on Wednesday, March 18th, from 6:00–7:00 pm. This session will help students and families better understand the college application process, including information about the Common Application and SCOIR, and provide guidance for planning postsecondary opportunities.

On Thursday, our Band students will perform in their Spring Band Concert.

Finally, on Friday, March 20th, from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm, we will host a Blood Drive on campus. Community members are encouraged to sign up and help make a difference.

Have a great weekend!
