Upper School Families,
There’s a lot happening at IC Imagine as we head into an exciting week ahead!
The week of February 16th is Upper School registration week for rising 9th, 10th, and 11th-grade students. On Monday, students will receive their registration forms and watch a registration video during advisory. Throughout the week, they will collect teacher signatures for their selected courses. Completed registration forms are due on Friday, February 20th.
We’re also looking forward to our upcoming Upper School Dance on Friday, February 20, from 6:00–9:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased through Infinite Campus, and we are still in need of food donations to help make the night a success. If you’re interested in contributing, sign up here.
This week, Mr. Godfrey’s Advisory volunteered at the Humane Society, and we couldn’t be prouder of our Kingfishers for giving back to the community. It’s always inspiring to see our students in action beyond the classroom.
Junior families, we are offering another ACT practice day. This will occur at school on March 3rd, starting at 8 am and testing until about 11:30 am. After the practice test, juniors will report to class for the rest of the day. The practice test will take place in the IPAC on the student’s computer, so please have computers fully charged and ready to go. Best practice is to practice taking the ACT in a test setting, and this will be our second round of doing just that! An ACT Boot Camp will also be offered from February 23 through March 5. More details will be shared soon via email, and students will bring home additional information.
Families, please keep on your radar a College Planning Info Night on Weds. March 18th from 6 - 7 pm in the IPAC. More information to come!
Do you know a family who might be interested in IC Imagine? Help us spread the word about our upcoming Discovery Day on Saturday, February 21, from 9:00–11:00 AM. This event gives prospective families a chance to explore our school and learn more about what makes our community special.
