Middle School Families,
It was great to welcome students back after the snow days and see our hallways full of energy again. Our Kingfishers quickly settled back into routines and made the most of their time together in the classroom.
In February, families will receive an email with instructions for completing the Intent to Return form. This is required for each current student and helps us plan and prepare for the upcoming school year.
Student-Led Conferences will take place on Tuesday, February 3, from 4:00–6:00 PM. These conferences give students the opportunity to share their learning, growth, and goals directly with their families. Please sign up to reserve your conference time—we look forward to partnering with you.
We are proud to celebrate our musicians who were selected for the 2026 All District Bands, an impressive honor that recognizes talent and dedication:
Senior High Ensemble: Julian Kasalu
High School Ensemble: Warren McElreath
Middle School Symphonic Band: Shiv Patel
Middle School Concert Band: Avett Humes, Merrett McElreath, Rebecca Owings, Henry Bond
These students will rehearse and perform with musicians from across Western North Carolina during the February 6–7 event at Western Carolina University. Please join us in congratulating them on this outstanding achievement.
After the conferences, stop by Chipotle on Tuesday, February 3, from 4:00–8:00 PM at the Chipotle on Brevard Road. It’s an easy and delicious way to support our Middle School community.
