Upper School Families,
Report cards are being sent home today. Families can also view student grades, attendance, and other important information at any time through Infinite Campus. This is a great opportunity to check in with your student and celebrate their progress.
Registration for the upcoming school year is right around the corner. Registration for current Upper School students will begin the week of February 16. The course catalog for next year is nearing completion and will be shared with families as soon as it is finalized. Upper School teachers have already begun discussing course options with students and are also visiting the Middle School to speak with our rising freshmen. We’re looking forward to a spring filled with planning, registration, and continued learning.
Congratulations to Junior Veda Rhodin on being selected to participate in the 76th Mars Hill Choral Festival next month! As part of being selected, Veda will receive a $92,000 scholarship to Mars Hill University if she chooses to attend secondary school there!
We also want to share important information for our junior families. The ACT will be administered on campus on March 6. All other grade levels will participate in a virtual learning day. In the coming weeks, juniors will meet one-on-one with Mr. Shaughnessy to receive a personalized ACT study plan. Additionally, an ACT Boot Camp will be offered from February 23 through March 5 to help students prepare. More details will be shared in a separate email, and students will bring home additional information soon.
Finally, please save the date to support our Middle School at the IC Imagine Chipotle Fundraiser on Tuesday, February 3, from 4:00–8:00 p.m. at the Chipotle on Brevard Road. We appreciate your support of our school community.
