Lower School Families,
We’ve had a busy and exciting week here at IC Imagine, and we’re grateful for the continued partnership between home and school. Report cards are being sent home today, so please be sure to check your child’s folder or view grades in Infinite Campus. This is a great opportunity to celebrate progress and set goals together for the coming weeks.
We are excited to introduce Penny Caldwell, who is joining IC Imagine as our Interim Assistant Principal. Penny shared the following message with our community:
“Hello! My name is Penny Caldwell, and I am honored to serve as the interim assistant principal at IC Imagine. I recently retired after 31 rewarding years in education, including many years as an elementary school administrator. My passion for learning and commitment to supporting students and staff remain as strong as ever, and I’m excited to work together to continue the great things happening at this school. When I’m not at school, I work on our cattle farm and spend much of my free time enjoying outdoor activities, traveling the world, and trail riding horses throughout the United States.”
We’re thrilled to welcome Penny and look forward to the experience and warmth she brings to our community.
Next week, Lower School students will have a special visit from a therapy dog. We’re looking forward to this opportunity to support student well-being and bring a little extra joy to their school day.
Our next Bring Your Family events are coming up soon. Families of students in grades 3–5 are invited to join us for Bring Your Family to Theatre from January 26–30, with sign-ups currently open. For families of K–2 students, Bring Your Family to PE will take place February 2–6. Due to potential winter weather, the sign-up form will be shared next week once dates are finalized.
ASCEND Summer Camp registration is now open. Each week offers a new theme and engaging activities throughout the summer. Families can register through Infinite Campus, and we encourage you to secure your spot early.
Please save the date to support our Middle School at the IC Imagine Chipotle Fundraiser on Tuesday, February 3, from 4:00–8:00 p.m. at the Chipotle on Brevard Road in Asheville. It’s a great way to support our school community while enjoying a meal together.
