I hope everyone is enjoying the Winter Break! We are hosting a handful of home Basketball games and would love to see Kingfishers in the stands. If you are in town and looking for something to do with your family, come out and support our basketball teams and cheerleading squads. Although we are amidst the Winter sports season, Spring lies around the corner, and planning is already underway. If you have any questions regarding any athletics program, please reach out.

3v3 Basketball Tournament (Grades 4-8)
Save the date! The 3-v-3 Basketball Tournament is back for its 4th season on Saturday, February 28th. This event is open to all 4th - 8th grade IC Imagine students. Visit the 3v3 webpage for all the details!
Grades 4-5: from 9 am - 1 pm
Grades 6-8: from 1 pm - 5 pm
Flag Football (Grades 2-9)
We are exploring fielding Kingfisher teams to participate in Asheville City Parks & Rec’s Youth Flag Football program this spring. If your child is interested in playing, complete the interest form. Volunteer coaches will be needed to make this happen; contact Coach Irvin if you are interested in helping. The teams will be broken down as follows, with age division based on players' age on March 31, 2026:
8U - 2nd & 3rd grade
10U - 4th & 5th grade
12U - 6th & 7th grade
15U - 8th & 9th grade
MS & US Baseball Informational Meetings
MS Boys & Girls - Thursday, January 8th, during lunch (11:30) in Mr. Barton’s room.
US Boys & Girls - Tuesday, January 13th, during lunch in Mr. Stalowy’s room.
MTB
MTB team registration is open. Practices will begin in January when we return to school. Please see the MTB team page for more information and contact Coach Barrett (erinbarrett@icimagine.org) with any questions.
