Upper School Families,
There is a lot happening over the next few days as we wrap up and finalize everything before Winter Break begins. Our students continue to impress us with their commitment, leadership, and willingness to support the community.
Yesterday, Mr. Crayton’s advisory spent the afternoon volunteering at Babies Need Bottoms, and we are incredibly proud of their hard work. In just 1.75 hours, students created 296 bundles — a total of 3,228 diapers — to support families in need across our community. Their teamwork and compassion made a real impact, and we’re grateful for the way they represented IC Imagine.

Here is our 2026–2027 School Calendar. Please take a moment to review it so you can plan ahead for next school year.
Help us welcome our teachers back on Jan 2nd! The Staff Appreciation Committee needs volunteers and food donations for a special lunch. [Get Involved]
Congratulations to Julian Kasalu on his selection to perform with the 2025–26 North Carolina All-State Orchestra! Julian joined the ensemble for two days of rehearsals and a culminating concert held at UNCSA in Winston-Salem on November 9. More than 500 students auditioned for a place in this prestigious group, making Julian’s achievement especially impressive. Congratulations once again to Julian on this outstanding honor!
We also want to share a special opportunity. One of our Upper School students, Lucia Ferrell, will be singing the National Anthem at this weekend’s UNC Asheville Women’s Basketball game. IC Imagine students and families can purchase discounted tickets using the link for the 11/22 game and enter the coupon code IC2025! at checkout.
