Middle School Families,
Our first Imagination Day was a wonderful success! Students spent the day strengthening peer connections, engaging in social-emotional learning activities, and participating in team-building challenges that encouraged collaboration, leadership, and creativity. They also had the opportunity to explore a variety of clubs and interests, helping them connect with new friends and discover new passions. We’re so thankful to our teachers and students for bringing such positive energy and excitement to the day—it was truly a celebration of our community and the values we share.
Report cards are being sent home today, so please take a moment to review your student’s progress and celebrate their hard work this quarter!
8th Grade families, this year the Washington D.C. trip will take place May 18-21, 2026. We will be using a tour company called Grand Classroom. The cost of the trip is approximately $1000.00. We will be looking into fundraising options, and if anyone has any suggestions, they would be appreciated.
Make-up Picture Day will take place on Wednesday, October 29. Middle School students will be called by grade for pictures.
This week Asheville Empire Lacrosse joined our MS PE classes. Our goal in partnering with Asheville Empire is to provide an experience that aligns with four of our six core values: inclusivity, well-being, relationships, and exploration. Additionally, we want to provide opportunities to expose students to this sport and grow interest in lacrosse with the goal to be able to field both middle and high school teams. If your child has enjoyed lacrosse, one of the best things you can do is keep a stick in their hands! There are two upcoming opportunities so you can choose 1 or both!
(1) Imagine's Fall Lacrosse Club (after school on Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning 10/29, for 8 sessions, no cost, sign-up on Infinite Campus)
(2) Asheville Empire's Winter Program (Sunday afternoons in January & February; visit website for more info and to register).
