I am excited to celebrate the energy and dedication of our fall sports teams. From the hard work at daily practices to the excitement of game days, our athletes have shown incredible commitment and teamwork. With upcoming conference games on the horizon, there’s no better time to show your support, fill the stands, and cheer on our teams. Let’s come together as a community to celebrate their accomplishments and show our Kingfisher pride! Simultaneously, we are also preparing for our Basketball and Cheer teams to hit the court, so there is a lot going on!

US Girls Volleyball - BRAC Championship & Playoffs
TODAY (10/9) - Our varsity girls face Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy this afternoon for the Conference Championship. The match will be played at Franklin School of Innovation with a 4:30 start time. Join us if you can!
MONDAY (10/13) - The first round of conference playoffs will be held at IC Imagine next Monday. Our Lady Kingfishers play at 4:30 pm. Come fill the stands and cheer on our girls to a win!
Coach Burroughs - Coach Of the Year
Join us in congratulating Coach Burroughs for receiving Blue Ridge Athletic Conference’s Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach of the Year. Coach B has established an amazing culture and built our Volleyball program into a force with which to be reckoned. The Lady Kingfishers finished the regular season undefeated in Conference play and will have a chance to win IC Imagine’s very first conference championship. We cannot thank her enough for what she has done for our Volleyball program as well as our Athletics department as a whole. Congratulations Coach B, you truly deserve to be “Coach of the Year”!!!
Fall Athletics Banquet - October 23rd from 5-7 pm
Fall athletes and their families are invited to attend our inaugural Fall Season Athletics Banquet at Heaven’s Cloud Event Center. There is no cost to attend. Food trucks will be onsite for families interested. Please RSVP on Infinite Campus and contact Coach Irvin with questions.
Cheer & Basketball Tryouts
MS and US students interested in trying out for our Cheer Squads or Basketball teams must complete two important steps before they can participate. Both must be completed prior to tryouts.

Fall Lacrosse Club
Calling 6th - 11th graders! Come out and give lacrosse a try. Wednesdays & Thursdays, 10/29 - 11/20 from the end of school until 4:45 pm. No experience or equipment necessary. No cost to play. Sign-up on Infinite Campus.
MTB
The IC Imagine 2026 MTB team will have an interest meeting after school on Tuesday 10/21 for parents and athletes. This is open to 5-12 graders, regardless of experience. Please see this document for more team information and fill out the interest form to be included on communication.

Reminder! Registration for this competitive basketball league closes October 10! Open to IC Imagine students, this league offers a more competitive experience than intramurals with practices a few nights each week.
