Middle School Families,

Progress reports have been sent home. Please note that we are still resolving a few issues with grades not displaying for certain courses. For a more complete picture, we encourage you to log into Infinite Campus, where additional grades may be visible.

As a reminder, our middle school has fully transitioned to Standards-Based Grading. Unlike traditional letter grades (A, B, C, D, F), Standards-Based Grading measures students’ proficiency on specific learning standards. In the past, we used a combination of both systems, but moving forward, this approach will give you a clearer understanding of what your child has mastered and where they may need more support. It also helps establish a stronger foundation for future learning as students move into higher grade levels. You can view our grading scales here.

It’s been a busy few weeks, and we’re looking forward to more exciting activities ahead. To help reduce traffic on McIntosh Road and improve dismissal, Blue Tag dismissal will move to 3:15 p.m. beginning Tuesday, September 30. Middle and Upper School students will continue dismissing at 3:10 p.m. Please arrive during your designated dismissal time to help keep traffic safe and smooth. Full details are available on our website under Arrival and Dismissal Expectations.

IC Imagine is seeking community members to join our Board of Directors(not parents) to help guide the school’s growth and support student success. If you know someone who would be a great fit, please encourage them to apply. Parent opportunities will be available soon.

Support our Imagineers at a Chipotle fundraiser on Brevard Road on Tuesday, October 7, from 5–9 p.m. Mention IC Imagine or show the flyer, and 25% of sales will benefit our students. Online orders can use code KNYE9LJ. Our Chorus program is also hosting a GotSneakers fundraiser from October 6–16, collecting gently used athletic sneakers to raise funds while keeping shoes out of landfills.

Nurse Ashton reminds families that energy drinks and skipping meals can lead to headaches and fatigue—please encourage students to eat breakfast, bring lunch, and carry a refillable water bottle.
