Dear IC Imagine Families,
As you may recall from our Head of School’s message last week, our funding as a charter school is significantly lower than that of traditional public schools. Each year we receive 25-30% less than traditional schools. On the conservative side, this equates to $2.5 million. This is funding that would enable us to pay our deserving teachers more, invest in critical school resources, expand programming, and improve and expand our facilities.
Over the past 12 years, our families have consistently shown their belief in IC Imagine’s mission and donated generously. Today, I ask each of you to consider making your most generous gift to the Imagine Fund. Your support can take many forms — a one-time donation, a recurring monthly gift, or even a corporate sponsorship. No matter how your family chooses to give, please know that every contribution is deeply appreciated and truly makes a difference.
If you attended the Athletics Family Night last month, you heard about our next big capital project: the Upper Field Complex. The first phase, which includes infrastructure and a turf field, comes with a $3 million price tag—and as a charter school, we receive no public funding for capital projects. Every dollar must be fundraised, which means we are relying on the strength and generosity of our community.
Your support doesn’t just mean dollars raised—it means opportunities for students to thrive, for teachers to feel valued, and for our school to continue growing. Whether you give financially, connect us with local businesses, or help spread the word, you are a vital part of this effort.
If you have any questions about how to give or want to learn more about donation options, please reach out to me. I also encourage you to consider whether your employer offers corporate matching or sponsorship opportunities.
Thank you for being a vital part of the IC Imagine community and for helping us continue to inspire, nurture, and empower every student.
With gratitude,
Avery Jones
