Middle School Families,

We are off to an amazing start this school year! Today, students learned how to log in to Live School and spend their hard-earned points. Some of the exciting rewards they can purchase include lunch on admin, dress down days, and snacks from our new and improved snack cart. Encourage your student to keep up the great work and make the most of these opportunities.

Yesterday, we welcomed new inductees to the National Junior Honor Society. The ceremony was beautiful, and our current NJHS students did an outstanding job preparing and leading the event. Congratulations to all our new members.

Next month, sixth graders will head to the Barrier Islands. Students not attending will enjoy trips to the Cradle of Forestry and the AMF Bowling Alley. Our eighth graders will be traveling to Washington, D.C. in May. Stay tuned for more details about this exciting trip.

Picture Day is Monday, August 25th. All students should be in uniform and follow the school dress code. A flyer with ordering details was sent home this week. If you’d like to purchase photos, please review the flyer for instructions.

Our Kingfishers are already making us proud. Come out and support our teams—check the schedule on our website for upcoming games and events.

Next Friday, August 29th, is a scheduled Professional Development Day. There will be no school for students. These days allow our teachers to collaborate, plan, and engage in professional learning to better support your children.

Thank you for your continued support.
