Lower School Families,
What a wonderful first week of the school year! It has been great to see the halls filled with students and to see them collaborating in their classrooms. They are doing a fantastic job learning the routines of their new classrooms and getting the hang of new grade-level systems.
We know that the first few weeks of arrival and dismissal are bumpy and slower than they will be in a few weeks. Thank you for your patience as we get our new 150 families oriented and used to our carline systems and procedures.
A few reminders for everyone to ensure a smooth arrival and dismissal:
Stay in your vehicle, staff will assist with doors and bookbags.
Come at assigned times; coming early usually results in longer wait times.
If your student cannot buckle/unbuckle independently, practice to increase their independence!
Sign-ups for our After School Opportunities open Monday! We offer a range of clubs and programs throughout the year to help students explore interests, build skills, and connect with peers. Please note, each activity has an associated cost. Click here to learn more.
North Carolina Individual Student Reports (ISRs) are now available for families in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. These reports include spring testing results for students that were in grades 3-12 during the 24-25 school year, as well as any applicable summer Read to Achieve (RtA) or End-of-Course (EOC) results.
All our best,
Jamie Williams & Ellen Girardi
