IC Imagine Families,
We hope you are having a wonderful summer, and we look forward to welcoming you back to 110 Champion Way in August. As we prepare for the start of school, we will be sending communications through email and text each week. Please engage with these so your student is set up to be successful, and you know what is expected of your family.
ATTENDANCE & ENROLLMENT
Attendance is critically important to student success! Our first day of school is Tuesday, August 5th. Additionally, attendance informs our funding for the entire school year, so it is essential for students to be present. If you know your child will be absent when school begins, please email enrollment@icimagine.org.
From experience, we know decisions related to school enrollment can alter quickly during the summer based on situations and relocations related to employment and family/student needs. If your child(ren) will not return to IC Imagine next year, please notify us immediately by sending an email to enrollment@icimagine.org.
Lastly, per our Attendance Policy (Policy 401), K-8 students picked up after 3:50 pm who are not registered with ASCEND or participating in an after-school activity will incur a late pick-up fee. [Click to learn more]

Lower School: $75/student - This fee will be added to students’ accounts in Infinite Campus in August.

DRESS CODE

SPIRIT WEAR
We will have Spirit Wear for sale at our concession stand during the Open House. Cash, check, and credit cards are accepted. Volunteers needed, email Lyessia Paley if interested.
UNIFORM CONSIGNMENT SALE
We will have a used uniform sale during Open House in the Gym. Think bargain prices…$2/item! If you have questions or want to volunteer for this event, email Lyessia Paley if interested.
If you have lightly used uniforms or spirit wear you wish to donate to the school, please drop them by the Front Office anytime Monday-Thursday from 8 am - 2 pm.
KINGFISHER ATHLETICS: FALL SPORTS TRYOUT INFO
All 6th - 12th grade students are invited to tryout for any of our fall sports. Students must have a current sports physical on file in their Final Forms account before the first tryout date, so don’t wait until the last minute! ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL
For the safety and security of our students, we are issuing new dismissal tags this year. Please destroy any old tags you and any families members may have. Old tags will not be accepted in the dismissal line. New tags will be available for all families to pick up at Open House. [Click to learn more]
UPPER SCHOOL PARKING PERMITS
Sophomore, junior, and senior students are extended the privilege of parking at IC Imagine. There are limited student spaces available in the lower lot, which are assigned to seniors based on a lottery process. Seniors must complete the application by July 31st to be included in the lottery. Payment will be required to obtain the permit. [Click to learn more]
ASCEND
This is IC Imagine’s daily after school program that offers extended care opportunities to families with students in grades K-5. If you are considering ASCEND, please complete the interest form on the ASCEND webpage. [Click to learn more]
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS
There are a variety of activities offered after school for all ages throughout the year. Interscholastic sports are available for students 6th - 12th grade. [Click to learn more]
LUNCHES
We will be partnering with Each One Teach One this year for families who wish to purchase lunches. This service will begin on August 18th. The deadline to order is July 31st. [Click to learn more]
BLUE RIDGE HEALTH
This summer, Blue Ridge Health is happy to announce that the School Based Health Centers at both Erwin Middle School in Buncombe County and Bruce Drysdale Elementary in Henderson County will be open with providers available throughout the summer. Nicole Ray, PA, will also be working at our Arden Blue Ridge Community Health office several Mondays this summer. Families with students participating in Fall sports are strongly encouraged to schedule sports physicals at one of these locations prior to school starting back. We will have some limited availability the week before school starts and after school starts at IC Imagine, but will have fewer appointments available during those times than in past years. Those dates will be announced later in the summer. Parents should call the IC Imagine school health center at (828) 233-2261 Monday through Thursday to schedule an appointment.
These locations are also available to see patients for sick visits, vaccines, annual exams, and other needs throughout the summer as well. Please feel free to reach out to Nurse Mitzi at (828) 233-2261 by phone or text (828) 690-0690 to schedule an appointment or if you have questions. Mitzi will be available by phone or text Monday through Thursday, 8am-3:30pm, for most of the summer.
VOLUNTEER
We love volunteers! If you want to help in a classroom, attend a field trip, or support in another capacity, be sure you have registered and have a current background check on file so you can volunteer when you are ready. [Click to learn more]

Imagine Parent Organization (IPO) is the school’s parent organization. Parents play a vital role in IC Imagine’s community and are encouraged to get involved.
