Upper School Families,
Exam Week is Approaching! Click here to view the schedule for our State End-of-Course (EOC) and teacher-made exams. Every upper school student has received a personalized exam schedule. Please review and discuss it at home to ensure students are aware of their exam dates and times.
Monday, June 2nd – C Day
All students will attend every class. Students with leave periods are expected to remain on campus during those times, as the blocks are too short to leave and return punctually.
🥤 Exam Week Snacks – We Need Your Help!
We're seeking donations of drinks and snacks to support our students during exams. Please visit this Sign-Up Genius to contribute. Donations can be dropped off at the front office anytime. We'll keep you updated on specific needs and replenishments.
Support Our School Safety Efforts
Reminder that we are requesting letters of support for an SRO at Imagine from our families. We would like to encourage each of you to draft a letter asking the County Commissioners to assign a School Resource Officer (SRO) to our school. Submit letters here via this form. Learn more here.
🎉Teacher of the Year
Congratulations to Mary Skierczynski, our 2025 IC Imagine Teacher of the Year! Mary is an outstanding educator who exemplifies dedication and excellence in the classroom. Next school year, she will represent IC Imagine as she competes for the state Teacher of the Year.
🎓 Celebrating Academic Excellence
National Honor Society (NHS) Induction Ceremony
This morning, we honored our new NHS inductees for their academic excellence, leadership, and service. Students, faculty, and parents gathered in the IPAC to celebrate their achievements.
Community Service Recognition
Congratulations to the following seniors who have completed at least 10 hours of community service annually for the past two years. They will be recognized at graduation: Sophia Abbott, Scarlet Davalos, Mateo Donnelly, Gabriel Goldstein, Jordan Lenoir, Malachi Mena, Charles Stowe, Caroline Strauss, Meadow Valdez, and Logan Vance Castenada.
Reminder: To be recognized at graduation, students must complete 10 hours of service each year, recorded on the official tally sheet. Hours do not carry over annually. Learn more and record hours on our website.
🎉 Senior Celebrations
Today, our seniors participated in the cherished tradition of the Senior Walk, parading through the school to celebrate their journey. It was a heartfelt moment for students and staff alike. Students are welcome to check out their graduation gowns and caps at any time from Mrs. Crayton. Please do not iron; only steam the gowns if needed.

🏕️ Exciting Fall Opportunity with Outward Bound
We're thrilled to announce a new partnership with the North Carolina Outward Bound School. This spring, our Imagineers and Outdoor Club members participated in enriching experiences, including team-building activities and outdoor skills development.
Upcoming Opportunity:
Ten students will have the chance to attend a four-day Outward Bound program from October 2nd–5th, free of charge. Interested students should contact Ms. Turner for more information.
Student Testimonial:
"Outward Bound was unlike any experience I've had. I love camping with my family, but this was different. I bonded with friends and overcame challenges together. Not knowing the time was initially stressful, but it taught me to live in the moment. The activities pushed me out of my comfort zone, and I grew because of it."
🧠 Mental Health Resources for Summer
Message from Kriya Lendzion, LCMHC, LCAS, CPS
It was a pleasure teaching your high schoolers recently. As summer approaches, I want to share two valuable resources:
A free webinar: "Parenting in an Addictive World: When to Step in & How to Help" – Watch here.
An article: Tips for Preventing Summer Substance Use – Read here.
HERE's what you need to know about what substances your child may be steering through in high school and into college/young adulthood, and HERE's how to talk about it all to help them stay healthy, responsible, and safe. Additionally, I recommend ensuring your child is equipped with Narcan to respond to potential opioid overdoses. It's available at pharmacies for approximately $35–$45 and may be free with some insurances or through the health department.

Have a great weekend,
