Lower School Families,
Wow, what a day! We celebrated our Seniors, and all of our lower school students got to visit their grade level for next year as a part of Moving Up Day. Our Fifth graders were assigned to their Middle School Houses and participated in their first middle school assembly!
Last week, our school selected Mr. Lars Johnson as our Lower School Teacher of the Year. While he was not selected as the school-wide winner, this is a huge honor and one to be celebrated! We are so lucky that Mr. Johnson chooses to pour his time and energy into Lower School here at Imagine.
We have two big weeks to look forward to here at Imagine. Next week, students will finish up Investments for the year, End of Year Celebrations will begin, and our 5th graders will graduate! The last week of school, End of Year Celebrations will continue, our 3rd-5th graders will show off everything they’ve learned on their EOGs, and we will welcome our incoming Kindergarteners to school as they come for their incoming Kindergarten Assessment.
Don’t forget that the last week of school has a different schedule!
No School for Kindergarten Monday, 6/9 and 6/10
Early Release for everyone 6/9-6/13. On Early Release days, the carline opens at 11:15 (yellow and blue) and 12:00 (purple) and will begin at 11:30. Dismissal will end at 12:45.
We wanted to take a moment to remind you all that we are requesting letters of support for an SRO at Imagine. We would like to encourage each of you to draft a letter asking the County Commissioners to assign a School Resource Officer (SRO) to our school. Submit letters here via this form. Learn more here.
All our best,
Jamie Williams & Ellen Girardi
