Middle School Families,

This week, most of our 8th grade students had the incredible opportunity to explore our nation’s capital. It was a joy to share this memorable experience with such a wonderful group of students. Highlights of the trip included visits to the White House, the Capitol Building, the National Zoo, and several iconic monuments. Students also enjoyed the hilarious play Shear Madness at the Kennedy Center, a scenic boat tour, and a fun evening at Dave & Buster’s. It was truly an unforgettable week in Washington, D.C. Our remaining students enjoyed time together bowling and experiencing time in nature at the Arboretum.

Please speak to your children about the dangers of the latest TikTok Trend that involves students putting metal or lead items into their Chromebooks to make them spark or smoke.  If your child participates in this trend, they will be responsible for paying for the damages that are caused to their Chromebooks.  Additionally, they will receive a school consequence.

Final progress reports go home on May 16th. Please be on the lookout and remember to check Infinite Campus to keep up with your child’s progress.

Digital Learning Dashboard Parent Survey

Please take a moment to complete the Digital Learning Dashboard Parent Survey. This survey aims to comply with session law "§ 115C-102.9," which mandates the collection and reporting of data concerning students' access to digital devices and internet connectivity at home.

Have a great weekend,
