US

Upper School Families,

As we head into the final stretch of the school year, our Upper School is buzzing with activity—from preparing for final exams to participating in meaningful community service trips. We're also looking forward to celebrating with our students at prom tonight!

Speaking of exams, our Advanced Placement (AP) testing begins next week.  Click here for test dates, times, location and more.  Please be on the lookout for a separate end of year exams email next week from us.

On Tuesday this week, all Upper School students attended grade level presentations by Kriya Lendzion, who is a licensed clinical addiction specialist.  Kriya lives locally but presents across the nation and even internationally.  She has a deep understanding of how drugs impact our lives through her own personal experiences and through her formal education.  Additionally, she is a gifted presenter and sometimes is referred to as the “teen whisperer.”  We hope our students came away with knowledge and skills to help them make healthy decisions that keep them and their friends safe.  We plan to have Kriya return next year.

We would like you to be aware that Ms. Turner has announced her retirement, effective at the end of July. We appreciate all that she has brought to our school.  She will be missed.  We are in the process of selecting a new US principal.  Stay tuned for more on that soon.  For now, Ms. Turner would like to share a message.

ICI Families, I am so grateful to complete my career here at IC Imagine. I have worked in 4 states over 40 years, so I can say with confidence that this is an incredible community.  I feel honored to have had the opportunity to play a part in growing the Upper School alongside incredible professionals, caring families, and delightful students.  As I reflect on my career, I will always hold a special place in my heart for IC Imagine and Kingfishers. With a full heart, thank you.

Check out all the exciting happenings here in Upper School! We have much to celebrate and a lot to look forward to as we approach the end of the year.
