Pre-ACT and ACT
All students take the Pre-ACT during the fall of their sophomore year, this is when they are listed as 10th graders for the first time in PowerSchool. Students only take this exam once, if they repeat their 10th grade year they do not take it again. They are automatically signed up and there is no fee.
All students take the ACT during the spring of their junior year, this is when they are listed as 11th graders for the first time in PowerSchool. Students only take this exam one time through the school. They are automatically signed up and there is no fee. If the student wants to retake the ACT, they need to sign up and pay for it themselves through the ACT website. If the student needs to send their ACT scores to a college, then they need to order the score reports through the ACT website.
PSAT/NMSQT and SAT
IC Imagine does not currently offer the PSAT/NMSQT or the SAT. Students are able to sign up to take these tests at other schools by signing up on the College Board website.
