Summer Reading Lists for Summer 2019
ImagiNation Insider Summer Info 2019
Tomorrow (4.27) is an Early Release Day!
Don’t forget about the early release dismissal times!!! We open our lines at exactly 11:00 (K only/blue), 11:15 (K-5/purple) and 11:30 (k-8/ yellow) according to “Verizon time” and allow those that approach the turn off of Ridgefield Boulevard to make a right hand turn to enter the line at those times. We then allow the traffic to flow naturally. If you drive by and try to enter before your line opens, we simply wave you by. When you get in line on the street, you are allowed to enter by turning left as traffic flow allows. If our line is full, we wave you by our entry due to the fact that it is not safe to allow a car line back up to the KMart exit/entrance. We do not manage any line that forms on Ridgefield Boulevard.
The following times are the correct times for each of our lines, we are asking for your cooperation in following these entry times.
If your Champion uses our After School Program, an additional fee applies for the extended care offered on an Early Release day. Please visit your orgsonline After School account to purchase and RSVP for tomorrow’s care day! For more information visit http://sites.icimagine.org/scopes/.

Fine Arts Selection for 18/19
Your champion will select one fine art of focus for the 2018/2019 school year. Please help your child make this selection by March 7th.
Mr. Wellman will host a band instrument assessment night on February 27th for currently enrolled Rising 6th graders or anyone interested in joining band. Students can try different instruments and find which one works best for them. Champions will receive recommendations from a collegiate leader or a university/professional level musician that will be on hand to assist in the process.
Middle School Information Sessions
We will host two opportunities for parents of currently enrolled 5th-8th grade Champions to hear from Jenn Townley, Head of School, Ryan Bell, Dean of Middle School and Middle School staff about our Middle School Program-including course offerings, extra-curricular opportunities, placement in accelerated classes and registration for classes this spring. We have exciting announcements to share! We will host a Coffee with Leadership on March 2nd, and a informational session on March 5th. Please see times and locations below.
Registration will happen during the school day for current 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students on March 7, 8, and 9.
Upcoming Dates
Our Upper School is looking forward to getting to know you and your Champion in the coming months as we prepare for their transition into 9th grade! Here are a few events coming up to help with the transition into next year.
Wednesday 2/28 we will host an evening to help parents of currently enrolled rising 9th graders to understand the courses and requirements your Champion will be taking throughout their high school career. Please join us at Main Campus from 6-7pm to hear more about what to expect.
Monday 3/5, Tuesday 3/6, and Thursday 3/8 we will have currently enrolled 8th graders shadow at our satellite campus with Upper School students. During this day they will be chaperoned by 8th grade teachers while attending classes, activities, and lunch with Upper School students. They will be taking IC Imagine bus transportation to this campus.
On the afternoon of their Shadow Day you will have a chance to join them by attending our 9th grade focused registration conferences. An Upper School Collegiate Leader will be hosting a conference for your family while registering your child for classes they will take next year. Please sign your child up for a conference on a day that works for you. If we cannot accommodate them to be at the school on the day you sign them up, we will arrange bus transportation for those students back to Main Campus and you can attend the conference day that works best for your family. If your conference isn’t until a later time in the afternoon, they can remain supervised at Upper School until you arrive for your conference. Rising 9th Grade Registration Conference Sign-Up
